This Week's Treat: Skittles!!

The treat of the week this week is....Skittles!! Skittles are a yummy treat and easy to eat on the go. There is a variety of flavors as well as types of Skittles. You can't go wrong with this simple treat.

Skittles Fun Facts:
-made of fruit juice, artificial and natural flavors, citric acid, hydrogenation palm kernel oil, sugar and corn syrup with a hard shell imprinted with the letter S.
- first sold in Europe starting around 1974
-it takes around 8 hours to put the candy coating on the outside of the fruit center
- 231 calories in 1 package

There are MANY different types of Skittles. Lets take a look:
Original (always yummy):

which includes grape, cherry, orange, lemon, and lime :)

Wild Berry (i think I've had it once haha):
this one includes raspberry, wild cherry, berry punch, strawberry, and melon berry. its yummy if you're into the fruity taste.

Tropical (never had it):

Banana Berry, Kiwi Lime, Mango Tangelo, Pineapple Passionfruit, Strawberry Starfruit (so i guess its good if you really like fruit. haha)

Smoothie (no comment):
Lemon Berry, Mixed Berry, Peach Pear, Orange Mango, Strawberry Banana

And One of my Personal Favorites, Sour Skittles :) :

So if you're having a bit of a sweet tooth, going to a movie, or just lounging around pick yourself up a yummy bag of Skittles. No matter what type it is, you wont regret it :)
